Turn your passion for cars into a rewarding career with New Community Career & Technical Institute’s (NCCTI) Automotive Technician Training Program. This accredited, 10-month program combines classroom instruction with hands-on training, giving students the practical experience and technical knowledge needed to succeed in today’s automotive industry.

Students receive real-world training while preparing for ASE certification and developing the career-ready skills employers value. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with financial aid available for those who qualify.

The next Automotive Technician class begins in August 2026 at NCCTI’s main campus, located at 274 South Orange Ave., 4th Floor, Newark, NJ.
